Bolly's best dog-friendly Putney hangouts

I thought you might like to hear about some of my favourite places to take my PA to eat and drink and to catch up with my furriends and their humans. So, I'll start close to home in Putney.

The Coat and Badge in Putney is located on Lacey Road, Putney, behind T K Maxx. I love it because it has a big metal barrel full of water and doggy water bowls ready for the humans to fill up for us thirsty pups at the end of a nice walk.

It has a nice beer garden, for humans and dogs to sit in, but you'll need to start on the lead as it is not enclosed. I'm usually allowed to sit on the chairs and benches, and the staff seem OK with this. The other human visitors are usually very friendly too.

The humans like it because It serves good drinks and delicious food for sharing, and has a fun vibe. It does get busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so get there early if you want a prime human watching seat!

Putney Pies is on Lower Richmond Road, just as you come off the bridge on the left. If your human carries you down the steep staircase inside, you'll find yourself in a cellar/tunnel which leads to a secret garden right by the river! It can get noisy later on at the weekend as there is a nightclub next door - I have not busted any moves there yet so I'm not sure whether it's any good.

I like it because you can watch the boats go past on the river and it's the only dog friendly place in Putney that serves Bollinger for the humans, so we went there on my third birthday and they gave me a sausage with three birthday candles! The humans like it because the platters of food are sensational and very good value.

Gazette Putney is more of a brasserie and very smart, but they are super welcoming to dogs. I went with my friends Caspar and Ziggy and their humans one weekend and they were very friendly and the hoomans loved the food.
