What makes our dog daycare school unique?
Dog Stories is more than a doggy day care service. We are a Day and Boarding School for Dogs.
Dog Stories Day and Boarding School delivers customised training and development designed to enhance our dog students' wellbeing, combined with a boarding school when owners need to be away on business or vacation.
Tailored to your dog
We have a maximum of eight dogs per trainer and field or indoor classroom. Your dog will benefit from more one-to-one attention, training, games, and activities from our highly trained teachers, who will get to know your dog more deeply because of our small class sizes. This means that we can provide you and your dog with a better and more personalised experience than the usual dog and puppy daycare services.
Training and fun
Your dog will enjoy training, play, physical and mental exercise, and rest at our school. They will practise basic manners, sit, stay, place, and loose lead walking. They'll also learn tricks, agility and play fun games like hide and seek, fetch, and scenting for treats.
Dogs are introduced to their new surroundings, humans and canine companions at their own pace. Your dog will spend time socialising with a class comprising friends and dogs with complementary play styles. We group dogs who are compatible in the same class and field to reduce the potential for stress and over-arousal while improving safety, giving you peace of mind that your furry companion is in safe hands.
Our structured development programmes enhance behavioural outcomes and improve your dog's emotional health, contentment and confidence. Our classes can be tailored to the needs of individual dogs and owners, especially in our Puppy Socialisation School,
Every dog enjoys regular quiet breaks throughout the day. Dogs can sleep in their own comfortable, private, crate in the school bus, and during the school day in our warm, indoor nap area.
We do more than train our dog and human clients. Every member of our team is fully trained. Plus, our staff regularly undertake additional education to ensure that they are up to date with the latest techniques and best practice to train and care for our canine students.
How does our daycare school service work?
We operate Monday-Friday and collect your dog from your home or office in our climate-controlled school bus.
The school bus currently operates in Barnes, Chelsea, Fulham, Putney, Sheen and the surrounding areas in south-west London.
We chauffeur your dog in their own comfortable and private crate to our tranquil and green school on the outskirts of London. At our school dogs and puppies enjoy the combination of training, socialisation, exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship they need to stay healthy and happy.
