What makes Dog Stories Daycare Different?
Dog Stories is introducing a new approach to dog daycare with smaller numbers of dogs per staff member and a more attentive, beneficial and stress-free experience for dogs and their owners. This type of daycare is often known as VIP or higher standards dog daycare. By gently introducing each new dog to their new surroundings, humans and canine companions, we make sure that every dog in our care gains confidence in the daycare experience at their own pace.
Our service is genuinely different from other daycares; you and your dog will enjoy a better and more personalised dog daycare experience, and your dog will benefit from more one-to-one attention, stimulation, and socialisation with compatible dogs. We also ensure that every dog enjoys the regular quiet breaks they need throughout the day.
Playgroups of only eight dogs per carer and enclosure mean more attention for your dog
Your dog will socialise only with friends and dogs with whom they are comfortable
We build on your training at daycare to help improve behaviour
Our variety of games and activities provides your dog with both mental stimulation and physical exercise
Plenty of quiet rest areas for regular doggy naps
We are fully licensed to the higher standard for animal welfare set out by DEFRA
Over 20 years' experience caring for and training dogs
One dog only per crate in the 'doggy school bus'
How does our daycare service work?
We collect your dog from your home first thing in the morning in our 'doggy school bus'. Then, we drive your dog to our tranquil and green facility on the outskirts of London, in Staines-upon-Thames, for a full day of the exercise, stimulation, training and companionship your dog needs to stay healthy and happy.
At the end of an adventurous day, your furry friend will be returned, tired and happy, in the 'doggy school bus' to your home.
Whether you are away from home for fun or work you want to be confident that your pup is enjoying the best care and getting plenty of love, attention, exercise and stimulation, so that you can enjoy your travels.
With our home boarding service, your dog will spend a full day playing and learning at our daycare centre and then stay overnight with one of our trusted carers, in their home.
We only board a maximum of two dogs per home at once so that we can ensure that our guests enjoy all the space, rest and attention they need during their doggy sleepover.
