Dog Daycare Trainer
Join our friendly and supportive team and deliver the best experience for our furry and human clients, working in a best-in-class dog daycare school environment, with plenty of activities and equipment.

You will be primarily responsible for the supervision, management, training, safety and care for a group of dogs and/or puppies at our day and boarding school for dogs.

You'll be caring for eight or fewer dogs at a time, meaning that you will be able to develop stronger bonds and enjoy more meaningful interactions with your four-legged students.

You'll drive the school bus to collect dogs in the morning and return them home after school. You'll also help with maintenance and cleaning of indoor and outdoor classroom areas and other areas of the facility as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Previous work experience in caring for dogs, preferably in a dog daycare environment

Good interpersonal and oral communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Proven ability to follow instructions and develop new skills and knowledge

Previous work experience demonstrating dependability

Evidence of customer service skills

Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Flexible with a can-do attitude
Other mandatory requirements

Full, clean, driving licence for at least five years

DBS check
Desirable
-
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in dog training/behaviour

Previous experience driving a van
Salary
From £23,166 per year (rising to £24,000 upon satisfactory completion of your probationary period and £25,000 upon satisfactory completion of one year's service). We are proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer!
